BioMy name is Nina Nelson and I am an author of MG/YA novels. My first book, Bringing the Boy Home, won the 2005 Ursula Nordstrom contest and will be published by HarperCollins in the Summer of 2008. I belong to an amazing critique group that I would be lost without and thank my stars for every month. Although I live in CT, I spend my summers in ME, star gazing, picking wild black berries and re-discovering how important it is to simplify your life. The hubby and I have been married for ten years (blind date btw)and have 2 children...a girl and a boy. Ummm...yeah we've got the dog and the mini-van too.

I have been crazily lucky in my life, and although I believe we make our luck, sometimes things happen and I just know there were other forces involved (cue Twilight Zone music.)
